Thunder Welfare will be led by a Committee (formed in May 2021) who will use their specialist knowledge and experience to drive forward Club standards on Safeguarding, Mental Health, SEND/Inclusion and Wellbeing. Player insight and experience is also central to Thunder Welfare, with Club Captain Bob Beswick as an Ambassador for the Welfare Committee.

The Committee have created a thorough Roadmap that outlines the support, intervention and education that will take place over the forthcoming 12 months with First Team players & staff, Academy players, staff & parents and additional staff members.
