KINGSTON PARK

The home of Newcastle Thunder since 2015, there has been a stadium on the site since 1990. when rugby union side Newcastle Falcons, under the name of Newcastle Gosforth first moved to what had previously been the site had been the Newcastle Chronicle and Journal Sports Ground.

In that time. Kingston Park has undergone a number of facelifts to the purpose-built rugby stadium that supporters see today.

WEST STAND

The West Stand will be the main centre for Newcastle Thunder matchdays from the 2021 season and is home to the following facilities on Thunder match days.

Supporter Accommodation – With seats for 3,500 supporters and additional facilities for hospitality guests, the West Stand offer’s unrivalled views of the Kingston Park Stadium pitch and all of the rugby league action.

Concourse Bar – One of the longest bars in Europe, the West Stand concourse is amply stocked with a wide range of beer, cider, wines, spirits and soft drinks.

Food Kiosks – Two kiosks serving a range of hot food and snacks, including Burgers, Hot Dogs, Fries, Homemade soup, Chicken & Lamb kebabs, Pulled Pork Stottie & Nachos.

At bigger games, these kiosks are supplemented by units from Angel Street Food, including the ever-popular Angel Fish & Chips and 72 Angels and Burgers.

Coffee Shop - serving a range of coffee, hot drinks as well as grab & go confectionery, snacks & pastries

Tuck Shop - Not just for the kids! Sweetie Heaven, chocolate, Haribo & mix up bags too!

Merchandise Kiosk – Located on the ground floor the club shop is fully stocked with replica team-wear and leisure wear and supplements the main shop located in the East Stand.
