Thunder confirm Hall of Fame Event Details

Newcastle Thunder is proud to announce the return of the Hall of Fame Evening for 2026 on Wednesday, 22nd April. Set within the historic Great Hall of Wylam Brewery, this night serves as the definitive celebration of Rugby League in the North East.

The evening will see the continuation of our Hall of Fame, as we induct a new member into the club’s highest inner circle. Joining us to welcome this year's inductee will be several existing Hall of Fame legends, offering a rare opportunity for fans to share a room with the architects of our club’s history.

A further highlight of the evening will be the formal presentation of player heritage numbers, a club tradition that binds the past to the present. We are delighted to announce that Joe Brown, Rhys Clarke, and Ryan Clarke will be honoured on the night.

In addition to these three stalwarts, we will be presenting heritage numbers to two very special guests. Their identities remain under wraps for now. Stay tuned for these announcements in the coming weeks.

Guests can expect a relaxed but celebratory atmosphere as the club reflects on its proud heritage and the people who helped shape it.

The Heritage Table - £700 per table to 10
Includes: Drinks reception, 3-course gastro meal, coffees and the full awards ceremony, plus a small discount for the block booking and a dedicated table name.

Corporate Partner Table - £1200 per table of 10
Includes: Premium seating (closest to the top table), Wylam Brewery drinks package and wine for the table, Commemorative photograph with the class of 2026 and a verbal “Thank You” from the MC during the opening remarks.
