Croston signs for 2026

Newcastle Thunder are pleased to announce that utility back Sean Croston has put pen to paper with the club ahead of the 2026 Betfred Championship campaign, adding further depth to the squad.

Croston, who has previously turned out for Whitehaven, Midlands, Hunslet and most recently Workington, came through the St Helens youth system and went on to feature across the 2024 and 2025 seasons for Newcastle Thunder as part of “The Keelmen” setup.

Sean comes into contention for this weekend’s clash with Dewsbury and will sport squad number 29.
