Tyler Walton agrees 2026 Extension

Newcastle Thunder are delighted to confirm that forward Tyler Walton has signed with the club ahead of the 2026 Betfred Championship season, further strengthening the squad as they build on recent progress. 

Walton’s is one of the North East's success stories, having come through the club’s youth setup and representing the club across the 2025 season as one of “The Keelmen”.

Fans will be eager to see him take the field this season as part of a side looking to build on last year’s foundations and make a real impact in the Championship.

Tyler is available for selection this weekend against Whitehaven and will wear squad number 28.
