Leo Tennison joins Newcastle Thunder

Newcastle Thunder are pleased to announce the signing of forward Leo Tennison, who joins the club ahead of the upcoming Betfred Championship season. 

The 21-year-old arrives from Hull Kingston Rovers, where he progressed through the academy system and gained valuable experience in a professional environment. Tennison adds youth, size and strong work ethic to Thunder’s pack as the club continues to build for the future.

A powerful and mobile middle forward, Tennison is keen to make his mark in the North East.

Speaking on the move, Newcastle Thunder Head Coach, Graham Steadman welcomed Tennison to the club and highlighted his potential and attitude as key reasons for the signing.

"Leo's come from a good system with high standards and has experience in the Betfred Championship through loan spells with Featherstone Rovers and Goole Vikings. I'm looking forward to seeing how he develops in our environment. He adds options to the pack we are building."
