Watkinson arrives with a strong operational track record and extensive experience in professional sport, including leadership roles that have focused on club operations, commercial growth, fan engagement and organisational development. His appointment reinforces the club’s commitment to building a vibrant and sustainable future, both on the pitch and across the wider community.

Newcastle Thunder would like to extend its sincere gratitude to outgoing General Manager Jordan Robinson for his dedication and hard work throughout his time with the club.
