Scotland RL host Ireland RL for an International Rugby League match at Gateshead International Stadium

Kicking off at 2pm on Sunday, October 27th, here is everything you need to know ahead of the fixture.

General Admission (18+) - £10

General Admission (U18 & Over 65) - £5

Turnstiles will be open from 12:30pm taking both cash and card payments if you decide to buy last minute tickets on the day. 

HOSPITALITY 

Enjoy a premium matchday experience, including hospitality, food, and a complimentary drink in a dedicated lounge - £25 

Hospitality will open at 12 :00 PM, please enter via main reception where a member of Newcastle Thunder staff will provide wrist bands on receipt of a valid ticket. 

MATCH-DAY TRAVEL

Entry to the stadium can be made through turnstiles 3 & 4 in the Tyne & Wear stand, adjacent to the main entrance. Disabled access is via the main entrance

Stadium parking for this fixture is FREE for all supporters. It will be available on a first come-first served basis.

We strongly recommend public transport is utilised for all travel to Gateshead International Stadium. Our nearest park and ride car park is at Heworth Metro, a short Metro journey to Gateshead Stadium Metro. 

By Road

Travelling from the north there are ongoing roadworks on the Tyne Bridge, please add extra time for your journey

For public transport there are a number of options
By bus

93 - between Gateshead Interchange and the Stadium

94 - between Heworth Interchange and the Stadium

These services operate every 15 minutes. Gateshead Interchange provides transport links via bus and Metro to all local destinations as well as Newcastle Airport, Newcastle Central Station and Sunderland Train Station.

By Metro

Gateshead Stadium Metro station is approximately 5 minutes’ walk from the Stadium. A footpath leads from the Metro station, through St. James Village housing estate to the Stadium.

By rail

The nearest train station is Newcastle Central Station (East Coast Line). Travel from Newcastle Central Station to Gateshead Stadium Metro station using the Metro.

FOOD & DRINK

You have 2 options in the main stand for food and drink, the kiosk in the concourse serves soft & alcoholic drinks as well as a range of hot and cold food, the main bar area will be available to sit in and enjoy your refreshments. 
Be sure to pay a visit to our bar ahead of kick-off.

PRE-MATCH ACTIVITIES
North East Thunder Masters play Catterick on the back pitch at Gateshead International Stadium k.O. 11:30. Both teams will be boosted by Scottish based guest players.

POST-MATCH ACTIVITIES

Supporters are invited to enjoy a post-match drink in the hospitality area with the players and officials from both teams.
