NEWCASTLE THUNDER MOODY CUP 2024 IS OPEN FOR ENTRIES

Supported by Cramlington-based Moody Logistics, the Moody Cup events offers a fantastic day of rugby league for players from U6 through to U16. It gives grassroot clubs the opportunity to go up against teams that they may not have played against before.

Newcastle Thunder is delighted to welcome all junior rugby clubs from across the UK to Gateshead Stadium for the return of the Moody Cup grassroots festival, this July 

This year, the Moody Cup will take place ahead of the club’s Betfred League one fixture against Hunslet on Sunday 14th July Kick off 2pm 

Supported by Cramlington-based Moody Logistics, the Moody Cup events offers a fantastic day of rugby league for players from U6 through to U16. It gives grassroot clubs the opportunity to go up against teams that they may not have played against before, adding to the enjoyment of the day.

The Moody Cup events are open to all grassroots clubs and free to enter.

Matches across all age groups are nine-a-side, with a no limit on the number of players per squad.

All participants will receive a complimentary ticket for the Newcastle Thunder game that follows, while family and friends watching can join the young players in the stands for only £5.
