Chairman Keith Christie Stated
"In the highly competitive world of Rugby League, financial stability is the bedrock upon which successful teams are built. Newcastle Thunder's business plan for the 2024 season is intricately woven around the committed funds from its supporters. These funds are not merely contributions; they represent a financial backbone that enables the club to operate efficiently, plan strategically, and invest in the resources necessary for a successful campaign.
As Newcastle Thunder prepares for the 2024 season, the committed funds from its supporters are the lifeblood that sustains the club's aspirations. These funds are not mere transactions; they are investments in the community's passion for rugby league, the success of the club, and the future of the sport in the North East. The supporters who have committed their money to the 2024 season are not just patrons; they are integral partners in the journey toward excellence, and their continued support is paramount for Newcastle Thunder's success on and off the field.
We're still outstanding some committed monies and are around 70% of our target, which we hope to hit before the start of the league campaign, once the league season starts, I am sure we will be in a very secure financial position to settle down and concentrate on the next 12 months. Can I take this opportunity to personally thank all those who have kindly donated their money and time, we would not be here without you all.
I'll Look forward to seeing you all through the season
Kind regards Keith Christie Chairman
