Days after the announcement of Newcastle Thunder’s re-admittance to Betfred League One the club have revealed APX Performance as their official kit partners for the 2024 season. The UK based sporting apparel organisation have been liaising with Thunder prior to the club’s successful application for RFL membership. With re-admittance now confirmed both parties have concluded the partnership for the forthcoming campaign.

APX Performance will produce Thunder’s home and away kits together with an exciting range of off-field training and leisurewear. The kits will be unveiled in January together with the date for supporters to be aware to purchase replica kit and official leisurewear items.

Speaking about the partnership Thunder Chairman Keith Christie said: “It is fantastic news that APX Performance will be the club’s official kit partner for the forthcoming season. APX Performance are a great company with a lot of experience and expertise in the sport of rugby league. It is a significant partnership for the club and will meet all of our training and playing requirements.

“We are excited to be sharing the new kit and off-field designs early in January and I’m sure they will be a big hit with our fans. The designs will acknowledge the Thunder heritage combined with a modern twist. It’s great that they are on-board and I’d like to thank James Milner and the team at APX Performance for their support.”

James Milner, Owner of APX Performance said " Having personally worked in Professional Rugby League for a number of years, Keith Christie and Jordan Robinson are both people I've known for some time.
