Falcons Events renew exclusive catering contract for Hexham Racecourse

Falcons Events (who manage all events at Kingston Park Stadium) and Hexham Racecourse have renewed their exclusive partnership which will see the Newcastle Rugby Ltd team continue to provide the catering and events support for racedays and non-race day fu

The new contract follows a hugely successful year for the team who have also supported Hexham Racecourse in hosting weddings, private parties, business seminars and conferences. 

Speaking on the new contract, Jane Shepstone, conferencing and events director at Newcastle Rugby Ltd said: “We’re delighted to be working with Hexham Racecourse on a long-term basis. Our two teams work incredibly well together and we’re looking forward to seeing what else we can achieve with them as our partnership continues to develop.

“We’re incredibly committed to the North East and working with likeminded organisation’s, such as Hexham Racecourse, really allows us to bolster what the region has to offer people living here and those visiting the area.”

The partnership will also see visitors at both venues benefit, with Falcons’ season ticket holders granted access to free tickets at Hexham race days and Hexham members receiving free match tickets to Newcastle Falcons fixtures.

They’ve helped us enhance the race day offering to our guests, as well as providing an insight into further development for other events. It’s been great to be part of that journey so far and I’m looking forward to seeing it continue to evolve.”

Known as “Britain’s Most Scenic Racecourse”, situated approximately 2 miles south of Hexham, the racecourse enjoys breathtaking views of the Northumbrian countryside and offers excellent facilities including their recently upgraded kitchens, together with a number of private boxes for 15-80 guests as well as conference and banqueting facilities which can cater for up to 150 guests.
