ENTRIES OPEN FOR SUMMER TOUCH LEAGUES

Gather your squad for a summer of fun at Kingston Park Stadium

Newcastle Rugby is calling everyone aged 16 or over, male and female, young and old, to get involved in our Summer of Touch league starting Wednesday 15^th June.

Open to players of all abilities, touch rugby is a fast, exciting, enjoyable form of the game, non-contact, and a great way to get fit in the summer evenings, whilst spending time with your friends.

The eight-week league will run every Wednesday evening, 18:30-21:30, from 15^th June through to the finals evening on the 3^rd of August.

Each team will play a minimum of 2 fixtures, and a maximum of 4 fixtures each Wednesday. Squads of 12 players, with the mixed touch games running six-a-side format, with a maximum of four males on the field at any one time.

Entries, priced at £280 for the entire summer, and are now open here, with games being held at Kingston Park Stadium and surrounding pitches.

We will also have a number of touch rugby events over the summer and October period. 

This summer, we will be running a Touch Rugby event around the Super League Magic Weekend and Newcastle Thunder Magic Friday’s fixture against Bradford Bulls. To sign up your team, please contact community@newcastle-thunder.co.uk
