Season ticket holders entitled to claim a pair of complimentary tickets for April 4 clash

Newcastle Thunder season ticket members can claim up to two free tickets for the Monday Night Rugby clash with Widnes Vikings on April 4, as the club looks to pack out Kingston Park Stadium for the visit of the Premier Sports television cameras.

It has already been announced that all general admission tickets will be priced at £5 for the game, as Thunder aim to attract a bumper crowd to Kingston Park Stadium and show the appetite that exists in the north east for rugby league.

With over 200 season ticket members signed up for the 2022 season, tapping into the club’s most loyal and dedicated fans offers a great way of achieving that goal and introduce both Thunder and the game to new and lapsed fans.

Monday Night Rugby has already proven popular in 2022, with more than 3,500 fans in attendance for the round one Betfred Championship clash between York City Knights v Featherstone Rovers and 4,500 for Featherstone v Leigh Centurions in round two.

With Newcastle and Widnes playing out a thrilling 30-30 draw in 2021 and both sides making entertaining starts to the 2022 season, an exciting evening is in prospect and a packed house will help deliver the atmosphere the occasion deserves.
