TOM SPENCER JOINS NEWCASTLE THUNDER ON LOAN

Leigh Centurions’ Tom Spencer joins Newcastle Thunder on loan for the remaining games in the 2021 season, with the prop in line for selection for this weekend’s Magic Night Out fixture against York City Knights,

A product of Wigan, Spencer has been part of the Centurions set up since 2014 and has made over 100 appearances for the club, including his Super League bow which came earlier this season.

With four Championship titles to his name, Spencer brings with him a wealth of experience of the division from his time at Leigh and London Broncos.

A player with excellent leadership qualities, Spencer’s arrival strengthens the clubs front row stocks ahead of home games against the Knights and Toulouse and a final away game against Oldham in between.
