Newcastle Thunder welcome Whitehaven RLFC for the latest round of the Betfred Championship at Kingston Park Stadium (KO 15:00) as both clubs chase vital points.

This is our easy guide for what to expect if you’re joining us for a day of thrilling live sport.

CODE OF CONDUCT – KEEPING EVERYONE SAFE AT KINGSTON PARK

Newcastle Rugby looks forward to welcoming you back to Kingston Park. In line with Government guidance on the admission of supporters to sports stadia, this Code of Conduct acts to guide and advise ticket holders of the protocols in place on matchday.

The Club has put in place a range of processes to ensure the safety of all supporters at our matches, however it is vitally important that all attendees play their part in making each event safe and enjoyable and to do so we need your continued support and cooperation.

Match tickets – Tickets for Sunday’s game are available to purchase via the club’s online box office and for the first time this season, will also be available to purchase on the day from the stadium office.

Tickets are priced at £20 adults, £15 concessions and £5 Under 16s.

PLEASE NOTE: Card payments only for ticket purchases made at the ground 

Supporters are encouraged to book their tickets via the online box office, which will see tickets delivered digitally via email, which can be scanned to gain entry

Season tickets – 2021 Season Ticket Membership cards can be collected by holders ahead of Sunday’s fixture.

Cards will be available to pick up from the merchandise gazebo located in the north west fanzone and will grant entry to all remaining Betfred Championship fixtures at Kingston Park Stadium this guest. 

Getting Here - Stadium car parking for Sunday’s match will be available on the day priced at £5 per vehicle and on a first come first served basis. Season ticket holders will receive their complimentary car park pass by email prior to Sunday’s game.

Kingston Park Stadium is well served by local public transport services, with Stagecoach’s X47 service from Newcastle city centre stopping opposite the ground on Windsor Way and Tyne & Wear Metro services on the airport line calling at Kingston Park and Bank Foot (approx 7mins walk away).

Stadium access – Entry to the stadium will be via the entrances located at the north west corner of the stadium complex.

The ground will open to spectators for the game against Whitehaven from 13:30.

The CAST - CAST volunteers will once again be on hand to point you in the right direction and improve your match day experience.

The volunteers aim to bring knowledge, passion for service and most importantly fun to every home match and to help our spectators have a standout experience whenever they visit Kingston Park Stadium.

They can easily be spotted in their bright blue uniforms and are ready to assist with any enquiries you might have on Sunday.

Food & Drink - Supporters can enjoy a wide range of food and drink options at the ground on Sunday, with an outdoor fan plaza located in the north west corner of the stadium.

Serving a wide range of hot, soft and alcoholic drinks throughout the day and with food options including all your sport stadium favourites, all tastes will be catered towards on the day.

Our bars will be using re-usable stack cups on the day.

Merchandise – Located in the north west corner, our merchandise gazebo will have the remaining 2021 Newcastle Thunder range available to purchase.

For Sunday’s game, there will also be an additional range of cotton t-shirts and accessories. Pop by to pick up some of the new additions
