Thunder to host Keighley Cougars in pre-season friendly

Newcastle Thunder will host newly promoted Championship side Keighley Cougars in pre-season, as the two clubs confirm details of a friendly in January.

Set for Saturday, January 14 and kicking off at 4:30pm at Kingston Park, the fixture will be Thunder’s first hit-out under new head coach Chris Thorman.

The friendly will also provide both clubs an opportunity to size each other up ahead of the round three fixture on Sunday February 13, when Newcastle Thunder travel to Cougar Park.  

Tickets for the fixture are on sale now and can be purchased HERE. Secure yours for just £10 for adults, £8 for concessions (over 65s), £5 for 16-24 (YAS or young adults/students) and £3 for U16. 

For those who have already purchased their 2023 season ticket, the friendly will be included in your membership.

Any season tickets purchased before Saturday, December 31 will also receive a ticket for the fixture against Keighley Cougars, free of charge.

Parking will be FREE at Kingston Park for the fixture but limited and only available on a first come, first served basis.
