New female social touch rugby coming in 2023

Thunder Community announces their brand new ‘turn up & play’ social touch rugby sessions at Kingston Park.

Thinking of starting touch rugby in 2023?

Thunder Community are calling females aged 14+ to get involved in their new Female Social Touch Rugby sessions every Wednesday, starting January 11 18:30, at Kingston Park Stadium.

Touch Rugby is a fast, exciting, and enjoyable game involving non-contact. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, the sessions are designed for skill development, improving fitness, whilst having fun and sociable evenings.

For just £20, our female touch rugby sessions run for 8 weeks, and are on an individual Turn Up & Play basis, although we will accept formed teams. Each week, we will select the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for each team, with a Thunder Club Shop voucher being rewarded.

The sessions are as follows:

1. Wednesday 11 January 2023 – 18:30
2. Wednesday 18 January 2023 – 18:30
3. Wednesday 25 January 2023 – 18:30
4. Wednesday 01 February 2023 – 18:30
5. Wednesday 08 February 2023 – 18:30
6. Wednesday 15 February 2023 – 18:30
7. Wednesday 22 February 2023 – 18:30
8. Wednesday 01 March 2023 – 18:30

These dates may be subject to change. Any missed dates will roll on into subsequent Wednesday evenings.

The Tap and Tackle will be open pre and post each sessions selling hot and cold drinks.
